When booking Wilsford House you are booking the whole house which accommodates up to 6 guests at a time.

All stays include one day’s worth of full breakfast provisions (although so generous that many enjoy these provisions over multiple mornings), linen, luxury bathroom amenities, bath towels, free Wi-Fi, on-site parking, Nespresso coffee and much more.

Wilsford House is the ideal location for those seeking uninterrupted privacy. Located outside of the Lyndoch’s town boundaries on a large private corner block, it has no immediate neighbours and is flanked by vineyards on three sides. The gardens and views are breathtaking, with the front of the House facing towards the southeast of the Barossa Valley.
Framed by significant trees, vineyards and the ridgeline of the distant hills, Wilsford House is ideal for those seeking to escape yet remains only a stone’s throw from everything the Barossa has to offer.

Yes, the property is an extremely tranquil place. Wilsford House is situated privately on the corner of a country road outside of Lyndoch. During the day there is some light traffic, however, at night, it is very quiet. We ask guests to be mindful that we are next door to a working winery and vineyards, therefore from time to time, there can be occasional machinery operating.

No it is not serviced daily. But, Wilsford House is serviced before arrival and stocked with generous initial provisions. Long term stays enjoy complimentary servicing once a week and a fresh set of breakfast provisions.

Yes. However as the property has a two-night minimum stay, a single night will be charged at the equivalent rate of a two-night stay. The inclusions remain the same.

No. Guests are not, under any circumstance, permitted to invite anyone onto the property who is not staying on the property with the exception of transportation and tour operators.

Full payment is required at the time of booking. Cancellations outside of the 30 days before your stay will incur a $300 cancellation fee. Your booking payment will be refunded less this $300 amount.
This fee is waived if you move your booking date (subject to availability), however after one complimentary date move no further changes can be made and a subsequent change or cancellation will forfeit the entire booking cost. A booking date can be moved only once.
Cancellations within 30 days before your stay will forfeit any refund.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all bookings to provide adequate protection against unforeseen circumstances and cancellation of travel.

Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is by 10am. You will be sent an email with self check-in details when you make your reservation. An SMS will be sent to the person who booked within 7 days of your stay, re-confirming yourself check-in details.

Yes, we welcome children of all ages.
Please note that children occupying a bed are counted towards the total guests allowed to stay at Wilsford House (total 6 guests).
Infants are not included in the headcount and one complimentary highchair and cot is available for use during your stay.

Unfortunately, we do not have a secure area to store luggage. Therefore, you will need to keep your luggage with you until check-in.

Wilsford House is ideally located within 10 to 15 minutes walking distance to the township of Lyndoch in the southern part of the Barossa Valley. Due to the scattered landscapre of the Barossa, it is advisable to have car access during your stay to maximise your enjoyment of our world-renowned wine region.

Yes. The Lyndoch Friendly Grocer is a short 15-minute walk. They have a great selection of local Barossan produce and are open 7 days a week

No. We do not allow pets on the property.

No, there is a no smoking policy inside Wilsford House and within its grounds. We request that you always respect this rule.

We supply free Wi-Fi for all our guests and the property enjoys full mobile phone coverage.

Sadly, at this time we do not offer that service, but do talk to our friendly team as we can advise the best options of local tourism operators to help you with transfer and tours.

Yes we have two taxi services within the Barossa, plus Gawler and a number of tourism operators that can offer transfer within the Barossa.

The closest restaurants & cafés are Vintage Chef & Co., Lyndoch Hill , The Lord Lyndoch, The Table Café and the Lyndoch Bakery, all of which are about 1.5 km away and within easy walking distance.
With over 150 wineries and 80 cellar doors, as well as the finest local produce, gourmet delights, bustling café culture and exquisite fine dining – is it any wonder that the Barossa is a mecca for food lovers and wine enthusiasts.

Yes most definitely. Wilsford House is situated next to a major bike trail that runs from Gawler to Tanunda. If you wish to hire bikes or undertake a hosted bike tour, contact Louis and the friendly team at Barossa Bike Hire. They will happily drop your bikes to Wilsford House and offer hosted and self-hosted tours through the Barossa region. They are also known to help out when you can’t carry your wine and drop it back to you from your cellar door visits during the day.
